Everton fans were a little worried that their team might not survive. Those worries are over now, after the Toffees defeated Brentford last weekend. Off a loss to Wolverhampton, Luton Town is in trouble. Relegation is reality. Sheffield is already going to be relegated. Only one of the following 3 teams: Burnley, Luton and Nottingham Forest will survive. Forest is currently a point ahead.

The Toffees won't be complacent though. They want that elusive road win. They have a -11 goal differential which is much better than Luton Town's -29 goal differential. The Toffees play with revenge and will be happy to further hurt the Hatters chances of staying at the top level. Play on Everton.

Give me all those points with the Los Angeles Clippers! Down 3-2 in the series, the Clippers are in a must win situation. When previously trailing in the series, they responded with an outright 116-111 road win in Game 4. Though its perhaps not quite as close as the NY/Philly series, most of these games have also been extremely close. Including that 5-point win by the Clippers in Game 4, we've see 3 of the 5 games in this series decided by 5 points or less.

Bear in mind that LA is 27-16 on the road and that Dallas is 26-17 at home. The Mavericks only outscore teams by an average of 3.6 points here. The Clippers have come back from down 3-2 to the Mavericks before and still believe that they can do it again. Harden will be better than he was in Game 5 and they will keep this one close the whole way. An outright upset is entirely possible. Grab the points!

The last game finished with a 2-1 final score. That makes 3 of the last 4 games which have produced 5 or fewer goals. Vancouver has generated only 92 shots in the first five games of the series. The Canucks' previously potent power play has scored goals in only one game.

Even in the regular season, these teams were both pretty good defensively but both have stepped up their defensive efforts even further in the postseason. Both teams are averaging only 2.4 goals in the playoffs. Only Toronto and Washington have averaged less.

The Blue Jays have many advantages for today's game at Washington. They had a day off yesterday. The Nationals lost a game in extra innings. The Blue Jays have the better lineup. They still have a good chance of making the playoffs. The same cannot be said for the Nationals.

The starting pitching matchup highly favors Toronto. Kikuchi has a 2.94 ERA and 1.159 WHIP in 6 starts. Corbin has a 6.82 ERA and 1.895 WHIP in 6 starts. The rested Toronto relievers have a 3.72 ERA on the road. The Washington relievers have an ERA of 4.78 at home. The Blue Jays crushed Corbin last August and won 7-0. This will be another blowout!

Two really good defensive teams will do battle in Denver tonight. Division rivals and also having faced each other in last year's playoffs, the Nuggets and Timberwolves know each other well. Both teams have enjoyed an extended break since winning their opening round series. That gap in between games will lead to some rusty shooting and will help to keep the final score beneath the total.

The Timberwolves are 10-6 to the under in division games. The Nuggets are also 10-6 to the under in division games. Both teams are also 4-1 to the under when playing with 3 or more days rest in between games. They couldn't even get to 190 in Game 1 of last year's series. This will be another defensive battle. Go with the Under!

After being held scoreless for the first 8 innings, the Bronx Bombers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th. That was good enough for a 2-1 victory. The Yankees will ride the momentum of that thrilling comeback victory right into this afternoon's first pitch.

Both starters are pitching well. Both bullpens have been good. The Yankees obviously had the edge in that area last night though. They're 2.37 bullpen ERA is #1 in all of the baseball. The Yankees are also better at the plate. The advantages add up to the Yankees improving to 18-7 against right-handed starters.

Girona has never finished higher than 10th before. This is just its 3rd season in Spain's top league. So, the fact that Girona is in 3rd place is quite the accomplishment. They are already guaranteed of at least a spot in the Europa Cup but they're destined to finish in the top 4 and get a spot in the Champions League. Girona will be looking to guarantee that Champions League spot this weekend but will have to wait.

Barcelona is still the class of Catalonia and they will remind their Catalan rivals of that on Saturday. Though mathematically still alive for top spot, Barcelona knows thats not happening. Real Madrid will finish 1st. There is still plenty of motivation for the still reigning La Liga champs to avenge a 4-2 loss in the reverse fixture. Barcelona is off a 4-2 victory over Valencia, Robert Lewandowski recording a hat-trick. Girona will fight hard but Lewandowski and company will be too much!

Sheffield is out after this season. Relegated. They were the worst team in the premiership. Historically bad. The Blades have a -63 goal differential in 35 matches. The next worst is only -32. Sheffield has conceded at least 4 goals in each of its last 3 Premier League matches.

Nottingham Forest is barely keeping its head above water. Three teams get relegated. One is Sheffield. The others will include 2 of the following 3 teams: Burnley, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest. Forest is currently 1 point ahead of both and can gain some much needed breathing space with a victory. Sheffield has no pressure and some might like the chance to play spoiler. But the Blades just don't have the talent, can't keep the ball out of the net and are dealing with too many injuries. Forest gets the full points!

Costa lost his last fight. It came against Erceg, the challenger in the Main Event. Before that he'd beaten Jimmy Flick. This will be his 4th fight in the UFC. Borjas has only one UFC fight to his name and it was a loss.

Not only does Costa have more experience in the UFC, but he's also the more well-rounded fighter. His 13 victories have been a mix of TKO/KO, submissions and decisions (4, 6, 3). Borjas has never submitted anyone but he has been submitted. Costa is from Brazil and Borjas is from Peru. Back the Brazillian, fighting in his own backyard.
